Autor: Howard Shore. Soundtrack k prvnímu dílu trilogie Hobit, která předchází událostem trilogie Pán prstenů. Autorem filmové hudby je opět Howard Shore, který napsal také výbornou skladbu "Song of the Lonely Mountain", jež je součástí soundtracku.
